Harry Lee [Co-Director/Producer] was born in Kaduna, Nigeria and has lived in five different countries. He graduated from the University of Virginia with Bachelor’s degrees in Foreign Affairs and Psychology. Harry spent three years helping to set up Abaarso School in Somaliland before returning to the United States to lead the school’s nonprofit organization. Harry now applies his wealth of problem solving skills, efficient fiscal practices, and managerial experience in his filmmaking career.
Ben Powell, [Co-Director/Cinematographer], runs a media production company out of the greater Washington DC area. He has DP’ed for major television networks such as Discovery in addition to directing and editing commercials and promotional videos for national franchises and businesses. Ben is well connected in the DC area film circuit, working frequently on corporate projects for government agencies and contractors in the area.
Kate Griendling, [Producer], is an independent filmmaker who created, co-produced, and wrote the acclaimed documentary “Capturing Oswald,” for Discovery Communications and has worked as a producer and writer for television programming such as TLC’s Hoarding: Buried Alive, Discovery’s Gold Rush, and a new series for History Channel. She started her career writing for ABC News and working on acclaimed HBO documentary, Section 60: Arlington Cemetery.
Paul Docherty, [Editor], is a documentary film editor whose work includes Jodorowsky’s Dune and Facing Forward: A Student’s Story. As a television editor and animator his work has aired on Discovery, A&E, PBS, VH1, and TLC. In a previous life he was a video games graphics designer who worked on over twenty home computers and console software titles for international companies such as Activision, Acclaim, and Virgin Software. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
